In 2025, healthcare entrepreneur Peter St. John acquired Flexcin with a bold mission: to preserve the brand’s legacy while elevating its potential through innovation and world-class customer care.
With a background in orthopedic sales, Peter spent years working alongside surgeons and the people they cared for. That experience shaped his belief that everyday habits, including daily nutritional support, deserve a bigger place in the conversation about staying active.
How It Started
The Beginning
Flexcin began with a grandson’s determination to help his grandmother stay active. That search led founder Tamer Elsafy to cetyl myristoleate (CMO), a naturally occurring fatty acid ester first identified in the 1970s, which became the foundation of CM8™.

Supports joint flexibility. Cetyl myristoleate is a fatty acid ester or, more specifically, a cetylated fatty acid. It is the cetyl ester of myristoleic acid.
Methylsulfonyl Methane (MSM)
Supports joint comfort and flexibility. Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a natural source of sulfur, a building block of healthy connective tissue.
Custom Enzyme Blend
Supports digestion and absorption. Larger molecules like cetyl myristoleate take more effort to digest, so we include a natural enzyme blend.
